Welcome to the website for the Three Chopt Road Church of Christ in Richmond, Virginia. What are we all about at Three Chopt Road? Here are a few introductory thoughts…Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” It is this understanding of who Jesus is that is the basis for who we are at Three Chopt.
You know, there are many causes and voices in this world claiming to have the key to life. The believers here at Three Chopt Road have concluded that only by knowing the Lord Jesus Christ can we know true life. If you are frustrated with the world’s definition of what life is, we invite you to join with us as we seek to follow the One that takes the world’s definitions and expectations and flips them upside down!

OUR HISTORY
The body of Christ at Three Chopt Road in Richmond, Virginia was first established in 1923 with nine Christians meeting in each others’ homes. In 1926, the congregation moved into a building on Third Avenue in Richmond and became the Highland Park Church of Christ. In 1964, we purchased a building at 4006 Hermitage Road and became known as the Hermitage Road congregation. We remained in this location until 2000, when we purchased property on Three Chopt Road to construct our new building, completed in 2002.
